Hi! I'm Renée
I am a Certified Professional Portrait and Commercial Photographer living in north central West Virginia, with a studio in Buckhannon.
I'm addicted to grape Kool-Aid, I'm afraid of birds, have two doodles and a golden retriever, and if I ever win the lottery, will adopt all the homeless dogs. I am obsessed with cars, do not understand why I wasn't born at the beach, and am fluent in sarcasm. I celebrate diversity, strongly believe the "all kinds welcome here" way of thinking and support the right to eat pineapple on pizza.
High school senior photography is my favorite genre and my senior work has been nationally published in Senior Year Magazine, SeniorSzn Magazine and Senior Muse Magazine. My favorite senior sessions are those where I incorporate a senior's interests/hobbies/sports and involve anything super creative, crazy fun, over the top and above all, out of the ordinary.
My second photography love is providing the highest of quality images to my commercial clients. From photographs of life saving heart surgery to making something as ordinary as a construction job look professionally polished, I take great pride in helping fellow business owners present themselves as the best in their field in whatever product and/or service they provide.
I believe in the importance of family and preserving a lifetime of memories through printed photographs. I've experienced the pain of lost data. Thousands of photographs gone in the blink of an eye. For this reason alone, I must emphasize how important it is to print photographs to display in your home. Lost files, failed hard drives, damaged phones are everyday occurrences. Once that file is gone, there is no getting it back. Plus, a canvas print on the wall brings me so much more pleasure than a thumb drive in a drawer.
I've been practicing my craft for nearly 20 years. Hundreds of thousands of photos created with love for my clients. Knowing my work will be treasured by families for generations is humbling. I am honored to have been entrusted with such an important endeavor.
